Croatia

Croatia is an absolute paradise for every sailor. Depending on whether it starts in Dubrovnik, Trogir, or Zadar, the route leads either north, south, or west. In any case, we are spoilt for choice: there is hardly any other sailing area with so many islands and anchoring possibilities.

The waterfalls of Krka and the route there are also very impressive.

Culturally, the cities mentioned also have a lot to offer, especially Dubrovnik and Trogir, which are renowned for their charm..

The wind blows with different strengths, featuring everything from weak winds to force eight gales, sometimes even within 20 minutes!

Trogir & Split

Trogir is the ideal starting point for a varied sailing week. Besides the cozy old town, it is the well-preserved buildings of past centuries that make an extended walk worthwhile. Split is only 15 km away, and the airport is only ten minutes away. Usually, we sail first to the north, passing Primosten and Sibenik. The unique fjord landscape on the way to Skradin and the waterfalls of Krka is a very special experience, and the landscape reminds us of Winnetou. No wonder the hilly scenery was the filming location of the Karl May classic.
We drive past mussel and oyster farms and can dock directly at the jetties and buy freshly caught fish. Dolphins are also occasionally spotted there.
In addition to the waterfalls, it is also the cozy town of Skradin that always attracts many sailors.

Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik is located in the south of Croatia. The old town is surrounded by an imposing stone wall and attracts tourists from all over the world. When leaving the harbor, the surrounding area offers a variety of bays deep inland as well as secluded moorings on the islands to the north.

Sipan, as well as Mljet and Korcula, are on the schedule, while on Okuklje, a unique, fjord-like landscape awaits us. Some typical konobas (restaurants) with their own jetty offer us culinary delicacies.

Murter & Biograd

The island of Murter is connected to the mainland by a small suspension bridge and is the ideal starting point for a very varied sailing week. Directly opposite the mainland is the beautiful town of Biograd na Moru.
To the north lies the nature reserve of Kornati, which is characterized by a large number of small islands. Some of the rocky islets are so close to each other that you have the feeling of sailing through the Swedish sheers – with much better weather, of course. Here you can also find typical restaurants (konoba), which have their own jetty.
Further north is the village of Veli Rat. Dreamlike bays and crystal clear water characterize this region. Snorkeling at a wooden freighter that sank in the 80s is also one of the highlights. The waterfalls of Krk and the fjord leading there are also within reach.
