Ionian Sea

If you are sailing the Ionian Islands for the first time and have been to other Greek islands in the Saronic Gulf or the Cyclades before, you will notice one thing right away: the Ionian Islands are lush green in contrast.
Besides many small ones, it is mainly the seven „big“ islands that promise an eventful week, with the biggest being Kefalonia at about 730 km². The least touristic and, therefore, undoubtedly culturally most authentic are the islands of Ithaca and Kefalonia. Here you can experience the real Greek lifestyle and find the most pristine beaches and coastal sections. The turquoise water and the white beaches, often framed by steep rocky slopes, make this sailing area unique.

Cyclades

The Cyclades are known for strong, partly stormy north winds, and in summer, there is practically no day without wind. Kea, Kithnos, Serifos, and Siros are easily reachable within one week, and many cozy anchor bays, tranquil fishing villages, and typical local food help to characterize the region. Excursions with a scooter and self-caught fish belong primarily to the „standard program“ of the Cyclades. If you are looking for a sportive sailing area with island hopping and numerous anchor bays, this is the right place! Which islands we visit and in which order will be decided on the spot together.

Sporades

The Sporades are still an absolute insider tip among sailors. Situated between Thessaloniki and Athens, the islands are close to each other and offer a fantastic scenery for a varied sailing week. Alonnisos, Skopelos, and the nature reserve Kira Panagia are beautiful islands with numerous anchoring possibilities. Freshly caught tuna and original tavernas are usually an integral part of our tours in the Sporades.

We, as skippers, are enthusiastic about the unique landscape and the typical Greek atmosphere of this region.

Peloponnese

From the cultural cosmopolitan city of Athens, we set sail in a southerly direction to the nearest island Egina, which is only 25 nautical miles, and often the wind is pushing from astern. We see the three million metropolia in the background for quite a while until it disappears completely on the horizon. In Egina, we also have several possibilities to make a swim stop, to visit an island, or to stay overnight. Further south lies Poros, which for many sailors is the highlight of the region. The colorful hustle and bustle in the alleys, countless restaurants and bars, and the narrow passages are truly a unique experience.
Further south, we reach the famous and car-free island of Hydra and a few miles further to Spetses. This region belongs to the absolute top spots and is a very clear recommendation!
