Marco

Was last seen looking for the shower valve in the forecastle.

Supposedly his last words were:

„Why I did not become a tax consultant?“

Otherwise you can meet me at the „Megayacht Flotilla“ and at the Skipper Training

Jannes

Jannes

Jannes is not only an avid sailor and fisherman, he also spent years at sea as an officer. Consequently, he is familiar with almost all waters and waters. But since he feels the deep urge to set sail from wind force 3, he has finally swapped container shipping for sailboats.

As a skipper, he is particularly strong at fishing and can smell fish from a distance – but they can smell him too. In addition to his sailing skills, he also has considerable stamina – so far no fellow sailor has managed to stay up longer than him. The only one of our skippers with official 3 stripes-)

Niels

Niels

Nils is a true northern light – born and raised on the German North Sea coast, but for years he has been drawn more and more to warmer climes. He recently discovered that cruises to England in January are damn cold and end with colds. Since then, he’s been Greek at heart, and he’s used to doing the cruise briefing in ancient Greek. Then he wakes up and just keeps talking in German.

Whether on one of our flotillas or on our „normal“ sailing trips, Nils always provides a good atmosphere, makes sport with you and gladly explains all the important sailing handles.

Mauricio

Mauricio

Our Brazilian is not only a passionate sailor, but also a great friend of his hammock. In summer, he mainly inhabits this open-air bunk. If you don’t find him in the cockpit, you’ll find him either in the masthead, or with a cold beer in the water. Even though he has lived in Germany for a few years, his temperament always comes through and his good mood is infectious.

„No matter where I am in the world, the main thing is on the water!“

Andreas

Andreas

Andreas lives in the north of Germany and there quasi in domestic community with numerous animals.

The farm houses chickens, pigs, horses, dogs, cows and silverfish.

And as if that weren’t already the perfect prerequisites for living together on board, his nautical skills come on top. Whether Caribbean or Mediterranean – the man has already seen and sailed a lot. His sailing motto is: „Moor – cast off – lay up“, just a real captain!

Christian

Christian

Christian is not only a Swiss citizen, he also lives up to most preconceptions about Swiss people. No one calculates arrival times, water supplies and nautical miles as accurately as he does.

All data that are less precise than the third digit after the decimal point bore him. He is also called the „Chronograph of the Seas.

In addition to this characteristic, he is also very fond of the Swiss understanding of democracy. Many processes are decided on board via direct referendums. In the decisive moments, however, he immediately recalls his task as captain and becomes a dictator.

Hannes

Hannes

Hannes grew up in Stuttgart and moved to Konstanz a few years ago.

Although he no longer lives in the heart of the Swabian region, the Swabian region lives on in his heart. As a project manager, he has converted old industrial sites into new residential buildings and has thus remained true to the genetically transmitted Swabian code: „Schaffe schaffe häusle baue“.

With the this activity in connection to bring savings, he then took off directly to South America to put back there 8000 km by bike. Overnight he has of course…where else: in the tent!

Besides his lovable nature, he is also a very talented sailor and spends every free minute on the water. Hannes has found his new home virtually on the seas.

The only skipper where the final cleaning is called „sweeping week -))

Alvaro

Alvaro

With his Spanish roots and his German home in Stuttgart, Alvaro is a very special mixture. Without wanting to reach too deep into the cliché box, but it shows how different cultural areas have corresponding effects. With Spanish nonchalance and joie de vivre, the mood is usually at sangria level: relaxed and exuberant!

When it comes to sailing and preparing for the trip, he lets the Swabian off the chain in a controlled manner. Conscientiously, carefully and of course on time everything is done.

So we are very happy that Alvaro’s imprinting works out exactly the same way and not the other way around-)

Platzhalter

Skippering at Soul Sail

We are always happy to welcome new skippers (m/f) who fit in with us and are keen to join our team.

If you have relatively little experience, with our „assisted skipper“ program you will be prepared step by step for your task.
If you are already a skipper and want to sail for us, here is the skipper’s page registration.
