Dear sailing friends,
welcome to Soul Sail. My name is Marco Ströhlein and I am a former TV presenter. Since my childhood I have been fascinated by life on the sea, far away from the regular daily routine. The vastness of the ocean, the starry nights on deck, the lonely anchorages and the exciting encounters with other people. All this is balm for the soul. Hence: „Soul-Sail“. Countless sailing trips have taken me to the most beautiful places on earth. Together with one of my skipper friends, or with me, you will sail to the most beautiful sailing areas and can look forward to many great experiences. By the way, Soul-Sail sailing trips are active journeys, where the whole crew (you) works together and sails the yacht together. Of course, we always orientate ourselves on your sailing skills. By the way, some of our numerous sailing trips are special trips, where the focus is on another activity besides sailing. Let’s see what you like best.

You can find an overview of the cruises here. New dates will be added regularly for which you can register. The average age of our sailors is mid-30’s. Special trips for young people (20-35) are marked accordingly. We will be happy to advise you on the selection of the right cruise.

The yachts
For the described trips yachts between 44 and 54 feet are used (13-16 meters).
On board there are 4-6 cabins depending on boat size and equipment. Usually there are double beds, occasionally a cabin can be equipped with bunk beds.
The yachts are always equipped with everything you need to live and survive-)
kitchen (pantry), toilets, showers (hot water), sound system and much more. – so almost like home.
Bed linen, pillows and a small towel are provided on board. What else you should bring, you will find in the packing list.

Trip in October 2020, sea area/route: Cyclades
The two weeks of sailing in the Cyclades were fantastic. Great people, great boat, great area, great skipper! Marco is very experienced, absolutely trustworthy and I felt very comfortable at all times.
Those who wanted could actively participate in sailing and there were also plenty of opportunities to practice mooring and unmooring. The offer for the evening fitness program on the foredeck or jetty I found class!
The first week we sailed as a flotilla of 2 and I was with one of his skippers, Niels. I would sail with him again anytime.

Cruise in August 2020, Sea area/Distance: Croatia
Not only the weather was fantastic, also the crew, the route and our skipper Marco. In addition to numerous impressive bays and towns, our skipper also took care to expand our sailing knowledge and was open to any questions. In addition, entertainment was provided ( building swings over the water :-)) as well as the daily sports session. Every evening in the sunset under the guidance of the skipper different muscle groups were trained, which one could relax afterwards with a jump into the crystal clear water. All in all an incredibly beautiful vacation, anytime again! Thank you Soul-sail!:-)

We have not only experienced beautiful bays, laughed a lot, pitched in, cooked together, danced and sang, but above all experienced one thing: a free and calm mind. Cruise in July 2020, Sea area/Distance: Mallorca
Everything was really right. The weather was perfect, the ship sufficiently large and well equipped, the crew sympathetic and the food a dream. Marco is a great skipper who has both sailing and shipboard life under control with calmness and expertise. He made all additional wishes possible for all fellow sailors, such as horseback riding on the beach, scooter excursions across the island or shopping tours. So everyone could set their own priorities and enjoy their vacation.
All those interested in sailing were able to develop their skills under Marco’s guidance and everyone else had fun sailing between the anchorages. Once even dolphins were to be seen…
The anchorages were very nice and just in time for sunset with music and food.
